About five minutes inside my mind: Inside. Inside the oven. The cookie jar. The refrigerator. The washing machine. Inside the book. Inside the bag. Inside the house. Inside my mind. What makes something what it is, what is inside? What do we put inside ourselves? How do we feed ourselves? Both body and spirit? What's inside the box? Pandora's box? What's inside the nest? What's inside the bottle? The cabinet? (The wardrobe!) What's inside the seed? Peeling away skin and shells. Inside the shell. Peeling away layers. What can I explore inside a month?
I have to edit my ideas a lot....
Pomegranate skin is supposed to make a brown dye (edit: but more likely yellow). Inside the dye pot it goes!
Making French seams while sewing a shirt. Tucking the seams inside. The inside of this fabric is so soft.
Working on my circus quilt. I took a picture of a cookie jar, tweaked it a bit on the computer, and printed it on to t-shirt transfer paper. I'll probably put it on some muslin and then stitch that down to the blanket. Still working on making hands in circles for the bottom of the quilt. I'm not happy with them the way they are. The cotton seems very flat with the wool, velvet and silk. If I like the clown transfer I might try hands that way. Or maybe some stitching... Still thinking.
