Yesterday I left the house at dawn (it was a tiny bit less orange than this):
I walked west until I reached the ocean and then turned right and walked a bit further.
Spent the day at a conference for early childhood educators. I don't talk about my work here very much, but the topic of the day really caught me. The focus was on "The Power of Culture on Brain Development." So I'm thinking about the power of culture, about relationships, about how we become who we are and what we value. About beginnings. Big thoughts...
A piece of who I am: Found this blooming in the garden today. It is pulmonaria, or lungwort. It's one of the first flowers to bloom every year in my garden and one of my favorites. Welcome spring.
