More and more I find that Briar will lay on the floor rather than jump up on the bed or the couch. I decided it was time for a bed for her and the porch cushion was handy...
Hazel likes it too.
And she loves Briar.
Dog rose in the garden:
Not quite a Briar Rose.
Each blossom on this rose is about the size of a nickle. And the shrub which is about 4 feet tall and wide is covered with blossoms.
Scrub for the hands: dish soap and salt. Works great.
Risotto with a sprinkling of chive blossoms.
