"The earth laughs in flowers." Ralph Waldo Emerson
Peach blossoms
Lemon balm that grew from seed that came from plant that flowered and then went to seed.
"Seedy" isn't always a good thing, but here it is a sweet thing.
Healing.
A cycle.
Primula arricula.
Struggling to bloom, it seems too early.
Out of cycle?
seven hexagons = a flower
A little bigger and it will be a hot pad.
And then a chair pad or mostly likely, cat bed.
And then a lap quilt.
And then larger enough to cover a body.
Probably no bigger as it would become hard to wash.
"Bee keeper's quilt"
Pollination.
Honey.
Productive.
Note to self: remember to plant more flowers for the bees.
Sewing seams.
Not just the sewing of two pieces of fabric together (Plant dyed fabric), but seams as in seams of earth.
I like thinking too that a seam might be a scar or a suture.
Mending heart.
