Sun garden:
I've been collecting calendula petals all summer for salve. I let enough go to seed so that I can collect and sprinkle the seeds. Calendula reseeds well if given an open space. Healing. (I will be making salve this afternoon and will share the process tomorrow.)
Star garden: I planted borage once in the garden. It reseeds itself now; madly, wildly, courageously. Symbolically borage = courage. Courage, a word rooted in the heart.
Moon garden: Lunaria, money plant, moon plant, honesty. It goes by all those names. It was here when I came to this garden and that made me happy. It's an old friend. It too reseeds generously. So much so that I have to thin it or it would take every opportunity to fill spaces left open.
Jude (Spirit Cloth) is hosting a SunMoonStars Diary. This morning I am thinking about how we, children and adults, learn through play. Animals too. The universality of that.
Thinking about how a universal part is something that is useful for many things. A computer is universal in that sense.
Storming with ideas:
I have a garden of sorts in mind...both the one surrounding my home and one to stitch.
