From the farmer's market this week:
I thought I'd have more to say, but I don't.
Just two things really:
1. Hooray for fresh local ginger! Boiled the stalks for broth, the rest will go into vodka so that it will last the year plus make ginger "tincture."
2. My challenge for myself this week. Try something new...
Parsnips. Any recommendations?
I went a bit overboard at the farmer's market this week. I also have: golden beets, celery, sweet potatoes, radishes, pears and apples.
