Two different mornings, different skies.
I look at the sky a lot.
It took several days for the snow to melt away. Most of the trees with leaves to drop are empty. The leaves have been blowing across the sky or down the street when there are gusts of wind and now cover the sidewalks and fill the gutters.
When it is dry enough, they rattle as they go.
I thought most of the greens in the garden would freeze and be mushy but there is still parsley and Swiss Chard. The cold snap was short.
Since the snow came first, there was insulation.
There are blankets to mend this weekend...before the next cold snap.
