#64 a rose
One of the other family roses.
I'm not sure if it was the first planting, but I think of it as a baby off of a rose that grew in front of the cabin one of my great-grandmothers lived in for the time I knew her.
My Mom and Dad lived there for awhile too...in fact I think I did for the first month or so of my life?
I'm not sure if the rose was there then or not.

I've become a bit addicted to the podcast Hidden Brain. One of the questions posed during the episode I listened to this morning was about how "big" we choose for our world to be. I've been thinking about that today...local and global.
While I made sourdough crackers,
and played with the indigo vat (I like it when the colors feather),
and stitched on this cloth.

From the garden this morning.
I never cook peas.
Just eat them raw or stir them in to something hot.
I've been able to support other local small businesses, but I miss the farmer's market and the Co-op...

#61 cutting cloth
Scissors were applied:
These are going to go into the walnut vat I think, to tone them down a bit. There is something in the stitching that I really like.
A sketchiness.
My stitching is as illegible as my handwriting.
These are not.
They are being pieced again in a different order and made into a bucket style bag.

#60 rethink
Rethinking, reconsidering... Pretty sure I am going to cut it into a bag and not continue as a blanket. Or dump it all in the walnut vat to tone it down. It's just not working.
I'm half way through my goal of posting daily for 119 days. I had a couple reasons for picking that number, thinking that hopefully by August we might have moved through the biggest impacts of coronavirus/COVID 19.
I don't think that is going to happen...
