Beautiful Deb Lacativa thread.
The fabric is raw silk.
Widget is absolutely no help, but she is a great joy.
The forsythia is in full bloom now.
I spent a good amount of time in the garden today.
Mostly clear, a little wind but from the south, a high of 58 F.
An osprey flew over, chased by crows.
The neighborhood hummingbird chattered from a nearby tree and the Merlin sat in the tallest Fir trees, shrieking occasionally.
This year I have planted more natives in the garden.
For the songbirds and pollinators mostly.
A bumble bee has been spotted a few times over the last week.
This week I had the dubious pleasure of watching a raccoon sleep the afternoon away in one the neighbor's firs; occasionally stretching and scratching a bit. At dusk two others showed up and a bit of a disagreement started. No picture, they were really too far up the tree to get a good one.

I will need to thin the garlic soon. It's done beautifully this winter.
So much else to do...tomorrow I will plant tomato, tomatillo, and pepper seeds. Today it was spinach, more peas, lettuce.
Noticed the pulmonaira (lungwort) blooming this week. It may have been blooming for awhile, it was tucked away.
It's always my sign that spring is on it's way.
