Most of Saturday was spent working in the back garden, pruning out the last of the blackberry canes.
The little birds are gathering bits and pieces for nests.
The native current is in full bloom. Usually a hummingbird can be found there.
Widget loves the birds and has discovered another window where she can watch.
To do soon: wash the windows.
Potatoes, radishes, carrots, and beets planted. Asparagus tips up about an inch and rhubarb could have been picked.
I decided to wait one more week.
The fig tree made it through the winter.
I am wondering, have I finally found the right spot and right plant. That's the thing with figs in this area.
