A couple days ago a friend and coworker told me about a term she'd heard:
My first thought when I heard the term was that it sounded like something from a Victorian melodrama. And then I read an article about it in relation to the pandemic and thought hmm...there might be something to this.

These words came to me after listening to a couple of podcasts by Haptic & Hue, one about mending and the other about Gee's Bend quilters. I suspect after 100 posts I'll have a definition for both of these words that will be my own...
