The weather turned out to be a better than anticipated this weekend.
So more time in the garden than making.
And house cleaning...including sorting out pantry goods.
A jar of apricot jam became a layer in a batch of scones.
An assortment of things ended up in the soup.
The last bit of some spaghetti, dried peppers and tomatoes.
Last week's celery bought at the farmer's market.
As an experiment I sauteed a bit of onion, carrot and the celery (stems and leaves) and then blended it in water.
It made a very green broth.
The soup also has potato and Italian seasonings.
And paneer for a topping.
I will probably play with this more.
