This morning I made a small batch of strawberry jam.
About a pint of strawberries, 1/4 cup sugar and a squeeze of lemon juice brought to a rapid boil for a few minutes.
There was a touch of caramel around the edges.
It added some much needed sweetness to some very tart rhubarb crisp I made this weekend and my plain yogurt.
There might be a life lesson in this...
