From the harbor.
Out in the garden.
Time inside.
Following a bit of a trail, I found a podcast called the WildStory, A Podcast of Poetry & Plants. The episode that I listened to featured conversations with Ross Gay and Margaret and Billy Renkl. It might have been in this conversation or maybe in an interview on Margaret Renkl's website, but she made the comment that we take care of what we love...something that I have believed for a long time.
Now that I've listened to this interview and explored Margaret Renkl's website, I am really looking forward to reading The Comfort of Crows (by Margaret and Billy Renkl) as well as reading Ross Gay's latest book, The Book of (More) Delights. But maybe I should finish what I am reading first? At least one of them?
Something new I learned, something to think about: The state of New Jersey is the only state in the United States that is considered completely "urban."
